Mr. & Mrs. Cummin's wedding will always be one I will remember. Not because of the beautiful weather (although the colorful leaves were gorgeous!) and not because of the location (although it does bring back memories of my wedding reception) but because of the people that were involved in bringing this special day together. The moment I walked into the rehearsal, I could tell the bridal party would be a fun and relaxed bunch. On the wedding day, they were cracking their own jokes and coming up with their own funny poses. It's bridal parties like this one that are so laid back, not worried about anything and are willing to do crazy or silly things in order to get a good picture that make a wedding day unforgettable! Not only was the bridal party amazing, but so was the family surrounding this couple. Both sides were so willing to help out in order to get things done that they even held my diffusion panel in place so the sunlight wouldn't be so harsh on everyone's face.
Although this day was filled with lots of laughter and many tears, I would say my favorite part was when Nicole's daughter tried on her mother's wedding dress. "This will be you some day," Nicole said to her as her little girl scrunched the dress in her hands and tried to make it fit. This picture was a special request from Nicole and what a beautiful moment it was for a mother to share with her daughter. Matt and Nicole, thank you so much for letting me be a part of your wedding day. You were my dream clients and reminded me why I love to shoot weddings so much!
